Chelsea veteran Gary Cahill will stay and fight for this place.
That is according to assistant manager Gianfranco Zola.
The club legend, who is assisting Maurizio Sarri this term, says that Cahill is always one who will compete for a first team spot.
There is speculation that Cahill will move on in January as he is not getting much playing time.
“It is difficult to say about that,” Zola said during the press conference.
“It was not Gary has done badly when he played, but at the moment there are players performing very well.
“I don’t know what will happen, but he is a fighter.
“It was a surprise to find out his personality, he will try to fight for a place.”
