Mesut Ozil won’t leave Arsenal in January, as indicated by his agent Dr. Erkut Sogut.
The German has been connected with a move far from the Emirates in the wake of dropping out of support with Unai Emery, who has forgotten him for “tactical” reasons as of late.
“I would lean toward not to talk publicly about Mesut’s circumstance, but rather given the ongoing speculation connecting him with a move far from Arsenal, I do feel it is critical to give some clearness so we can end this and focus on football,” he told Goal.
“Mesut signed another agreement last January since he saw his future at Arsenal and nothing has altered as he would like to think. He needs to remain for the length of that contract and perhaps more.
“Mesut is 100 percent focused on Arsenal Football Club. He adores the club, shares its qualities and does not have any desire to be any place else.
“He is pleased to wear the shirt and respected to represent Arsenal on and off the pitch. He takes his duties – including being chosen as one of the chiefs this season – truly and has an incredible association with his partners, the staff and fans.”
