Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante insists he and manager Maurizio Sarri have a good relationship.
Kante addressed recent criticism from Sarri after their defeat to Tottenham.
He told RMC: “It’s something I heard a little bit later, but it was things the coach had told me in training that followed that game.
“These are things he explained to me and when he was asked the question, he repeated the same thing. It’s not something very serious: he explained to me how he wanted me to play, what he wanted me to do and I think it’s useful for the future.”
Of his more advanced role this season, Kante also stated: “I enjoy this position because you have to try to be decisive and take part in offensive actions. I can improve on taking information, making the right decision at the right time and better technical involvement at times.”
