Russell Westbrook got into it with Jamal Murray and Nikola Jokic as his Oklahoma City Thunder fell to a 109-98 road loss to the Denver Nuggets.
With the Thunder down nine with 35 seconds remaining, Westbrook and Murray hustled for position at a jump-ball, before things got heated.
First Westbrook and Murray clashed, and then Jokic got involved. The big man’s involvement seemed to anger the one-time MVP, who had to be pulled away as he berated the Serbian from a distance — it didn’t take a lip-reader to figure out what he had to say.
Paul George topscored for the Thunder with 32 points, Steven Adams had 26 and 14 rebounds, while Westbrook struggled on offence — tallying just 13 points, along with 14 boards, and eight assists.
Jokic missed out on a triple-double by one assist, scoring a team-high 25 points, with 15 rebounds and nine assists
